Yes, you can actually scale down your browser if your using windows os. Press Ctrl+mouse scroll down to make the page small to smallest you can define the logo at small scale if still visible. Press Ctrl+0 to reset the scale.
I like this one - the font when small is harder to read - I think it needs to be at least twice as heavy because it will be used in a small scale at times.
Yes, it will depend on the ink quality of the printer also it can be embossed like in a canon brand printer for documents. I can send you the non gradient version of the logo for clarity as well.

Thank you for the feedback, the logo was based initially on your previous logo having it to have an icon which I can tweak it more for scaling options to make it visible as possible.
As the icon it can have the swirl for the main icon I'll update as I can come up with this.
