Hello Jaya, I initially liked both your designs and they were very different from the other entries. The reason your designs did not rank as highly was that I felt that the "look" was very much like many "financial" and "investment" professional firms and I am really very keen to separate my brand from that cliche and demonstrate a much more relaxed feel. The work I do is all about Simplicity whereas these financial and professional firms tend to make things Complex, they are very conservative whereas I have developed a Unique model that challenges the status quo and I want my brand to reflect this significant difference from the industry norm. I was interested that you incorporated green which was different but probably not quite right for what I am looking for. I would be very interested to instead incorporate magenta (perhaps on the "flick" in the G) and also to see how the logo would look in Dark Blue (and perhaps incorporate grey). Thank you very much for your designs and for making me think more deeply about my brand. By the way, I have decided to also remove "the" from my tagline and to separate the tagline into 2 distinct phrases.
hi mr.gregaleckson, very much thank you overall your feedback. i still interesting participating my designs for your logo design contest. thank you so much
Hi Jaya, thank you for submitting new designs. I actually still prefer the concept in your original designs and seeing if you could incorporate my original feedback to improve on these designs. I would also prefer to see those original designs in rectangular horizontal layout to improve flexibility for web and email signature as well as print. I hope you can revisit designs #18 and #17. What I did also like about #39 was the way you had "Greg", then "Aleckson", then my tagline laid out vertically one on top of the other (I wonder if you could incorporate this into the #18 design but keep something like the original GA logo but with the pink incorporated into that logo perhaps in the "flick" of the G as previously noted). The colour fade is quite interesting too but I am not sure whether it would work on the previous designs (?). Thanks again and I look forward to seeing more from you.
Thank you Jaya Abadi, I really liked your designs and I was very pleased you were able to provide a variety of designs and variations and that you were happy to receive feedback and work to achieve the right result. Unfortunately while your design did not win in the end, the feedback I received from friends was mixed and some ranked you very highly and I really did like a number of your designs. Best of luck with your design business also. Regards, Greg
