Here are my first approachs for your identity... In my opinion the Logo must be simple to represent the elegance you are looking for... I didnt know if the assotiation to the horn could be possible so I introduce it to separate both words... Let me know your thoughts :)

New entries working with a monogram shape with g and h

Thank you!! we still find ourselves liking #8 and #38 best. We like the idea of making NYC or New York City spelled out in a different font than the logo font so it has a more personal touch that we can change with each city. An example: http://www.toryburch.com/blog/torys-blog,default,pg.html 'the tory blog' font at the top.
