Great submissions. I really like the direction of #6 as it really talks to the concept of one built green house within a neighborhood or block of houses that aren't.
For #8 I could see an option to break up the brown box into squares (or a grid) the size of the green square and then have the green square placed where you have it or placed randomly in the grid.
