the font is a bit to modern and gamey.

Great...we are getting somewhere.. Maybe a little more of the page...kind of the same sentiment as a blank canvas..
could lead to a tagline at some point..
Maybe the logo on a post it type note--like reflecting the brainstorm of what we want to do as a company

(actually maybe think of a logo that reflect that in some way ((but not too flowery))
or
OR"the story starts here"
OR "framing ideas that entertain and inspire"
anyway...as you can see..your logo has started me thinking!
