Entry #5- you interepreted it well, but there are a couple of things I would have liked to have seen, but probably didn't communicate well enough ;-) 1. dots much smaller so that rectangle is more evocative of a strip of film (you may need to use a few more dots??) 2. the flavor of the font, but not that font exactly
Entry #6- I was thinking I wouldn't want to see one more use of that recycling symbol ;-), but I do kinda like this, hafta say. It's simple, direct and to the point.
sort of, but I definately DON'T want a black background. I think a sort of cross between the two- with the dots a bit smaller than #5, but maybe not quite as small as #10, so the little worlds work on the bottom, (without a large one) and a white background, with a font that is closer to, but not quite #5, is what I was thinking.
All this said, however, I am not comepletely married to that concept and am certainly open to new ideas. :-) I'm also waiting for my associates to weigh in. Thanks again for all of your submissions so far. :-)
I will work on this a bit more but warning if you put fine detail into a very small area then it will not hold at a very small size.... a good logo will look good and hold details at 1" or 1' (or more)
Hey thanks, Carol. I think it's safe to say that I am in no way married to that original idea, now that I have seen so many other ideas. Like I said, that orginal idea was basically just a quick sketch/idea I had. Now that I am seeing other ideas. including your own #6, I'm think what I really want is something really simple, clean, fairly basic, but with a touch of "clever", if you know what I mean. Thanks again for your entries!
