No - Take away brass tacks and gndc's blog. Then remove the logo from the top of the pin and put it on the Pin so the Pin looks like it's wearing the logo or embossed with it.

I don't think I'm being clear. Delete everything put the pin - just the blue top and orange point. On the blue top, please put the GNDC logo on it. Does that make more sense?

I like this.... I'd like to see the original GNDC logo incorporated. I'd like to see a pin on it's side but I'm not sure this is the right look to do it with but I like your conception of the "pin" I'd like to see a different color variation
