i think for the media use the initial logo will do just fine.
for the print/sew a version which has only contour or even an outline or a filled shape could be the way. I'll prepare that specific version.
Also having two versions of the same logo would be okay.

I totally agree from an artistic perspective, we take a bit of a step back. I'm still concerned, though, about the print quality of this logo on something where bleed is an issue...for example sewn on a shirt. Can we see a version with even less detail? Specifically in the grass and chest/back area of the buffalo?

I think ultimately, we may need two versions of the logo. One for use on digital/larger print material, and a simple one for print where we're very limited on size. Make sense..?

okay : heavily simplified...although from the artistic perspective it might be less .... artistic (not sure how to put this) .
Left the gold shadows , simplified too.

thank you. i am trying to heavily simplify the graphic now... this means maybe just one color and thicken the lines that give the shape...remove the smaller ones...

I LOVE this! So much! I'm curious to see what a simplified look might be - can we take a little bit of the detail out and see a version we might use for printing on promotional materials or sewn on shirts? I'm afraid there might be too much fine detail for some of those things. VERY NICE WORK!!
