I am presenting the top ranked logos to my team, today. I will provide you with any feedback

is there anything I can do to improve my standing?

This logo is preferred over #44 because the pictorial lines (water) are inline with the text.

This design I consider a logo make over, it's clean tight and in keeping with the original.

The original logo appears to ahve been make in photoshop or other bitmap software withn what looks like a bubble/plastic effect. Those bitmap effect for tired in short order.

Cleaning up the original design and re-styling the elements we have a design that will work well in all print needs, even if you at some point decide to embrioder

the icon negative space is the F and abstract waterfall
