Yes , is the answer on all your questions.
Here is pretty late right now ( gmt+1), but I will make this changes between logo #72 and #74 in next 45 min.
By the regulation of "Logo tournament " I must upload here all changes I made in SELECTION PHASE until you chose a winner. After you chose a winner we can communicate thru email and I can send you all 4 designs(vectors pdf, eps, ai + banner) and all the rest you need.
Here on Logo Tournament winner designer can upload just one logo in EPS and JPG format, but email communication is allowed then.
Very excited working with you on the final touches of the logo.
I would like to NOT take the full 7 days finalizing this design, if possible.
Here are a few things: I love the new font for the theme – it would go great on the pin. However, I think the one miner would look better. Could I see the bottom of this one, combined with the top of #72? Just the image inside the circle. The simpler the pin design is, the better.
I do like #72 the way it is for other marketing purposes, so if I could get all 4 versions that would be great (72 and 74 the way they are plus interchanged). Also, when you send the design file over, could we have each of the elements separated, so I can place them differently for various marketing pieces?
And one last thing – our website homepage banners are 1400x400 px: http://www.fairbankschamber.org/
Any chance you could design us a banner using elements of the logo? If it is easier to work via email, my address is elena@fairbankschamber.org
Just to clarify. You ask me to change a water color (not to looks so frozen) and to change mountain to golden color like in #72. All this changes on this design #69. Or I'm wrong?
How about this, with the gold mountains and the not-so-frozen-looking water, like in the last version submitted? It is really nice in the summer in Fairbanks, regardless of the popular belief :) Temperatures do go up in the 90s.
One of the uses of this logo with be to make a collector's pin out of it. If you become the winner, we would ask for the theme to be written in a different, less cursive font, so that it translates better on the tiny pin.
I'm sure we can work that out though. This looks great.
I also don't love the red, even though it's gradual. Could we see a different color option for that? I don't like the "bling" on top of the letters. Maybe it would look better if it went on the gold in the pan or went away all together?
I like the gold mountains from #52. I also like the outline being the same in that version - it makes the logo more cohesive. I do prefer this one because of the colors and the fact that it has less elements. Too much stuff going on can be a distraction.
I like the blue skies instead of the gold. Don't love the bars dividing "Fairbanks" from "Alaska." The logo does say a story, but it looks like they are almost two distinct elements - the top and the bottom don't look like a solid piece.
This looks more like Rocky Mountains than Fairbanks, Alaska. Our terrain is more hills and valleys versus snow covered mountains. The colors are a little dark too. This is one of the premier summer events for our community where the sun is out for 23 hours.
