I really like this design. Can you add the word Brewing after Goat Island?

We may also want to see some different looks on the head. Could you do that?

Consider adding "Cullman, Alabama" to the designs too. This is where we are located.

Will do and I'll work on the goat's head some more

Getting feedback that it does not look enough like a goat. I like that it is stylized, but maybe we could compromise and have one that is stylized, but still more goat like, (not mountain goat).
- Need a choice with the logo, and with Cullman, Alabama
Thanks,
GIB

Since you are looking for a brand identity to be added to a label design for specific product then a simple design will work best over a complicated with fine detail

#95 accomplishes that and the stylized goat head can be used as a recognizable stand alone mark. You product label then can be as detailed as you need with either full logo or just eh head as smaller mark.

I do have experience in product design the beer/alcohol industry.

I have been thinking about your advice on simplicity and I am convinced you are right. I think of Dogfish Head Brewing and how simple their logo is. However, I just don't like your goat yet. I think trying to make it into a G may be the problem. Could you go back to the drawing board and give me some more looks on the goat? If it could be more stylized like your first one, but more goat like similar to your second one, perhaps that would be the trick.
Thanks!

Great. Looking forward to it. I have recently heard additional information that simple is better. Please strip off the slogan and Cullman Alabama, and leave it simple. I think if we can get a nice looking goat head, and go with one or two colors, that would be the trick.
Thanks!

Consider something like this:

http://stocklogos.com/logo/blue-goat that is really bad

http://www.brandcrowd.com/logo-design/details/32631 there are already more than enough full body goats which is why I went with customized letter G horns

http://stocklogos.com/logo/goat this one is really bad as well

O.K. I trust your professional opinion over my gut reaction. I like the darker color in 28. Can you make the goat somewhere between 28 and 115? I love the styling of 28, but would like it to be a little more recognizable as a goat 1st glance.

#115 looks too much like a goat and #28 is more dragon/snake like

I'll see what I can come up with, but it will take me a wee bit as it's time consuming to come up with the right blend.
