Hi, this is my initial concept, let me know what you think. This is more metallic style, let me know if you want me to create the aged one.... marlboro is combination of both with the word marlboro itself using metallic style. Feedback is always welcomed and needed

Thanks for the entry, I'll have the others look at it and get back to you. I do like the aged look of the two. #18 rather than #20

We like design #18, we'd like to see the "dot com" and maybe would be interesting going up the side. Also where the "MH" is can you make the parenthesis a little smaller/square?

Not really changing the design aspect of the look, we'd like to see a few more ideas in type face/fonts. Without serifs would be great.

MH initial using H as the negative space, if you want to change the shape, or modifications let me know. Color can be changed too if you have something else in mind. Thanks

#36 and #35 These are GREAT!!! I don't know what we like better, but the H as the negative space is perfect. I am getting some feedback as to changing the M a little bit. If you can maybe make the indentation in the middle more pronounced/sharper instead of rounder. We are not really into red, but the shade is not that bad. We can discuss other colors as well a little bit later.

Also we can't at ths point figure out what we like better, the clean or the aged. If we go for the aged look, we'll go more into detail as to how we'd like for it to appear.

We'd also like to see if you can come up with more type faces, for the manhandled part of the logo.
Still clean, and simple, And please no Serifs.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, this is new concept, negative space created from the "m" reflections. Just to clarify all my fonts is "not serif" or "sans serif" as requested by you. All colors can be change based on your feedback, i am submitting the "non-aged" look first, because the aged look effect is hand created (not from fonts) and can be changed to other like scratched, paper texture, chipped. My aged look is actually can be turned on or off from a single final file, so you do not have to choose between them.

thanks

That sounds great. #43 is nice, however, we really like what you did with #35 #36 and #42. #42 more to our liking as the "M" is looking more to our liking. We'd like to go over it and will get back to you soon. Thanks for your great entries.

Also the font for manhandled.com can you try a more bolder tont? #5 is a good example, more on the lines of that. I'll try and look as well and try and send you examples.

Hi,

Hi this is using much bolder font, if you get some examples it will help a lot pin pointing the style that you like. Also let me know if you want to change colors / style.

Thanks

Hi,

We are liking too many of your designs. :) We like the font on #48 but not to into the scratched. It's too much.

We really like the aged look in the "MH" of #3. It's sort of a sanded down version.

We'll comment on the font that we like as well as once we pick the font that we like, we'd like to see ".com" on the bottom like entry #3.

Thanks again and it's looking really great!

We may be ending the contest early, as we like the top 5 entries and feel that we can make a solid decision as to the artwork we have now.

Once we end it we can then work out the final details of the of what we would want and like...

There are really only minor options that we would like to see now.

Thanks again for your entries...

hi,

give me 2 hours to submit variations from current number one and do the last revisions.

thanks

This is the modified aged look. I have the font that you mention as example but i cannot use that font because it might disrespect the designers that first used it. Hope you like my entry. thanks

#54 is looking really good. Can we see the font from #48 on #54. The aged look is nice as well, but would rather have it more sanded looking going with a verticle grain...

We are also liking the .com better going up the side rather than below. Also, can you make it so that the .com doesn't come so far up the side? Example if you can make it the size of the small part of the "d" before it hits the straight line. Or somewhere so it doesn't take up the whole side of the letter. Hope that makes sense...

And just maybe a few colors too?

Thanks....

hi, i hope you can be patience with me, creating a grunge look is hard on vector, do you have specific color in mind ? Also i am trying to fine tune the grunge look so it match your request, i will submit other font choices as well. Thanks

Hi,

We sitll like #74, but can we see the font cleaned up? It's a little too scratched, and it doesn't give it the aged look that we are wanting. It looks now as if it's been scratched up, rather then sanded and faded with age. The logo is looking really good and maybe something more on the basis of what you did there.

Thanks!

We like the logo on #108 it looks great. However we'd like you to work on the font a little more. We do like the font on #108 and also #74. However, we are not pleased with the aging.

A good example that we really like is #113 we really like the font as well as the aged look. The aged look on this design is the best that we've seen so far. It's very easy to read and it's not too much or too little.

Also, on #119 we really like how the ".com" is sort of connected and into part of the "d". Can we see a few examples of that as well.

One last thing, can we just see a few other colors? Maybe in the metallic for the logo that you did at first? And make it a little more gradient. And possibly a darker brown/espresso, a deep red/brick?

And we really liked the framing that you did on a few of them as well.

Other than that, thanks again and we hope to pick a winner by weeks end!

Take care,

Gino

Adding gradient is great idea... it makes the logo have more impact more macho with all those rusted chrome. Not so sure about the .com placement.. but will submit some variation after i make the red version.

thanks

Hi,

These are all looking really great... We are pretty happy with each of them... We are just waiting to see a few more changes on a few other designers and we'll get back to you in a day or so if we need for you to do anymore minor changes.

Thanks again for all your hard work and good luck with the contest!

PS don't do anything else until we have contacted you as we need to go over all your new entries. Hope you got some sleep!

Hi,

We like the changes and we're not too sure on the metallic revisions. We do like #133 as far as the font type and the aging looks great.

We just don't like the color choice on the logo part of it.

Thanks for giving us some color choices as well, it really helped in seeing what it would look like.

Would it be possible to do two more revisions for us. I don't think that it will take you very long to do them.

We'd like to see #133 just the logo part in a dark espresso brown, similar to the color of #106 and the logo aged like the font.

Also, we'd like to see #130 aged as well. Not the word, but just the logo. I think that you pretty much nailed it on the written part of the logo.

And we like the ".com" in how you incorporated it into the "d" in entry #132 Can we see it just pushed in a little more. If you feel that it will ruin your design then keep the placement where it is.

Thanks again,

Gino
