I like the A in this version, it stands just slightly taller, making the icon make sense for use as a brand mark

This one seems to pop and stand out to us as well. We like the stronger font for the Gleam, but may prefer the more elegant font you used for the other version for the word "Electrical". We like the stylized E with the 3 bars in the text

Yes, I do like this variation for a dark back ground- Still considering your suggestion for going with the more bold Font version of this. I think you have one version where the A is slightly taller than the rest of the font, which would emphasis that as the icon we could use

My business partner looked at these last night and we are 50/50 between the thinner font and the more bold font. We may be leaning slightly more towards the bolder font on the Gleam, but simple and thinner on the "Electrical"

Yes, I like this variation. I don't know that I would use the Logo and the name together (side by side) but I can definitely see using just the icon on a shirt or stationary. Its either the "A" or the "E" in some fashion to represent the "3 Pillars" that represent the foundation principles of our lighting design (Safety, Security, Aesthetics)

I like the stylized A you used for the Logo piece, however I like the stylized font you used originally much better. We are thinking of using the A or "pinnacle" emblem you have pictured here, or the "3 bars" of the letter E as a logo to represent the 3 foundation principles of our lighting design business. Food for thought anyway. Your ideas have been closer to our design intent than anyone else so far.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about that blue on the dark background. If you win this contest, I may see if I can negotiate a version for a black background and one for a white background

could I also see a variation where the top of the A is yellow instead of gray. I may take A and make it a simple logo to go on shirts. "the pinnacle of lighting design"

any chance I could see this on a dark background (we will use darker backgrounds most of the time in our marketing). Could you also change the Electric to Electrical ( I made an error in my description). Thanks

In my opinion in thick font is read away.
And for embroidery will be easier
