Wow! Yes, please tinker with the fonts some, and let's try a horizontal layout, too, just to see. I really love the feel of this. Would likely choose a brown with a tad less red to it. Well done!
I have installed over 2,000 fonts on my PC. It would be much easier if you could indicate me a font style you like (serif, sans serif, elegant, handwritten etc) You could also indicate me a font you saw somewhere and liked. You can start from here:
Would love to see the image in #109 in a dark gray and in a black. Would also like to see that same image used with a horizontal placement, gray and black each again.
So far my favorite font is that of #109 as well, but feel free to tinker should you be so inspired.
Great work! Looking forward to seeing what else you can do!
The designs are different enough. In your reference, the "G" and the "D" are put next to the other, while in my design the letters are intertwined. Also, my letters are thinner in the upper part and thicker at the bottom. Also, my "G" has it`s inner line while in your reference, the "G" doesn`t. You know, we have here on LogoTournament our own system to avoid such issues: when somebody spots on the web a design which looks similar to somebody`s design, he rings a bell. This way we avoid further legal issues and the site keeps it`s reputation. Please notice that some of us make a living out of logo designing so we can`t afford to be involved in legal issues.
If you are still interested in my designs and you still wish to see the revisions, please let me know.
I'm so glad there's something set up to avoid these issues. I'm obviously not an expert and not savvy to what might warrant a concern. Thanks for the clarification and I hope you aren't offended.
Yes, I would still be interested in seeing thinner wisps extended beyond the border, but I'm also still interested in gray/black.
Whatever you can make time for, thanks! I'm sure mine isn't the most important contest.
I`m glad we clarified it. Here are the revised versions: #144 #145 #146 #147 #148 I think in every business, the client is the most important part of it. The same way your clients are very important to your salon, you are very important to us.
I know there isn't much time left, but I've been coming back to your logos trying to put my finger on what's holding be back. While I do love them, there is such perfection and symmetry in your design that the messy artist in me doesn't entirely connect (but the perfectionist side does!). If you have time and you'd like, could the GD in 146&149 look more lazily or quickly painted with brush strokes? We paint with chemical haircolor all day long and I think I'd connect the image to the industry a bit more. Just a thought. Thank you!
Thank you! At this point, I've just got to make a list of objective criteria to compare these to and be sure our logo is hitting as many as possible. Will keep you informed!
