i went for the retro appearance... with colors a bit muted. i can try brightening the pheasant's colors. also in one of my previous entries, now discarded, the bird was in a flight posture... which it was...as you say, more dramatic.
I can also try using that bird again.
And I am open to your vision as well...If you have a specific direction, I'm totally open.

you mean the whole bird inside ... no white outline
