like the effort, but the immediate take is that it's a book . . not quite what we want to convey

I really really like the concept here. Could you play with it a little to see if it can become a more immediate "read" A little bolder somehow, a little stronger

I do like this color family. the logo feels too flowery though, as if we're selling a feminine product of some sort. If you have other ideas send them along.I can see your talent. and I very much like the typeface on EDGE.
