The font is very nice as well. Love the drop line in the A. classy.

Also, for the Font... maybe try a couple proportion adjustments, like having the GEN BEAN a bit more of the star than the icon.. but that icon pops too.. just as an alternative.

whoa! that is super different.. ! That looks awesome... Could you try something with GB with that line art style in that circle... your style is so clean, and I think she is definitely looking for something similar. I will certainly show her this.

ive got another design going but ill upload tomorrow as its very late in my neck of the woods
and my eyes are killing me :)

Play with the sizing and layout a bit too if you can.. often times character spacing can work wonders to balance smaller sub text or even the main logo text significantly

I think the owner has heart set on san serifs. She seems to not think signature fonts are working for her... just wanted to updated you on that. Simple, clean lines, line art for icons, all seems to be working. She is also being more attracted to gray with gold fonts and icons more, although black and white versions seems to be working as well. Still time if you're game!

ok thanks. I appreciate the new approach. Thinking about having more complexity in the iconography of things.. while maintaining simple elegance/luxury. So its a difficult balance for us. We want to be noticed, and respected nationally as a place that cares about the individual. Quality services. and a familiar brand. This is why we may need more detail on what the service actually is. Beauty related, in nail industry.

ive added leaves and bean like dotts for a subtle reference to the beans

will give it a go, dont want it to look like a coffee bean though :)

can you make that shape have an appeal at the bottom of it that feels like a bean?
