When testing this on the website, it feels like the character with the ray gun might be a little too large. Could you make him about the same height as the "Gematrinator" text? The blue under his feet could even bleed into the bottom of the text outlining.
Ok, so I think what I would like best is a mixture of the following:
Character / ray gun from this one (#80)
Font tone from #75 / #76
Open mouth design
Although I like a version with the cloud behind the logo, I would prefer the style from #72 where the text is larger without a cloud. That's what I would use for the primary banner on the site.
It would also be sweet to have a profile-style image of the character with the ray gun up on his shoulder or something. That along with a pair of these logos would be awesome. Let me know if you're up for working on tweaks or additions down the road, would be happy to pay more as necessary.
I can't figure out which one I like the best =D Hopefully I can use a couple of variations when this is all done.
I like the cloud behind "Gematrinator" in the newer ones. If that effect can be understated (probably a lot) and placed behind this logo I think it would be the best. The placing of the "Decode..." slogan on this is my favorite.
I'm also still torn on whether I like the "zap" effect of the gun from this one or the "light" shot from the other one. The zap makes more sense because of hour the letters are broken up here, but I'm also trying to shine "light" on truth so there's logic there as well.
I also really liked the one where the character had his mouth open more, both are really cool though.
I think the dark blue font for "Gematrinator" should be lightened a little bit. I love the teal outline but maybe a touch more blue and less green?
My last picky suggestion would be to make the energy beam a little bit more transparent just so the "MA" part of the logo is more legible. I love how it's cracked more near the beam, that's awesome. A tiny 3D effect on the letters exploding off the logo would be pretty sweet too =D
This is pretty cool...would like to see the logo larger with the character shrunken a bit. Having him off to the side like your other image seems to make more sense, although this style gives a nice clean centered look too.
Ultimately would like to see the numbers associated with the letters too, as in 7-5-13-1-20-18-9-14-1-20-15-18 in some subtle fashion perhaps
