I do actually prefer the way the numbers come off the letters in the other design as well, looks alright with the blue numbers against the white background

Hello,
For the primary logo I could be a bit smaller. Also the numbers should reflect the letters, so 7-5-13-1-20-18-9-14-1-20-15-18. I should have been more specific!

change :
tilt the character to make it more dynamic and alternative fulse on text to bring numeric fx.
