The only other thing that I might like to try is to see what it looks like if you were to move the red top curved line a very very small bit so that there is just a sliver of white between the red line and the basketball and soccer ball. Just a very little bit. like the distance between the bottom of the baseball and blue line on the bottom.

I think, this is maximum to add element, but if you want add slogan or tagline is ok. But for adding other elements, I am worry make logo too busy, just my opinion.

I do like the white in the text and would say keep it...just more of a gradient on the color like in #27
