We really like the font you used for Gaylord Evangelical Free Church. We don't like how much Gaylord is emphasized though, our eyes are drawn from the symbol down to Gaylord and it looks like something that is representing our town and not necessarily our church. We like the feel of the symbol but as it is right now in how it draws our eye to Gaylord it doesn't have the right feel.

all my work is vectorized, so it's possible to change always the size or position of any element.... don't doubt to ask me about any other change... thanks
Just want to give some general thoughts on this contest as a whole as time is ticking down! We really like the idea of integrating whatever symbol we use in our logo with the text instead of it being so separate looking. We like the idea of unique fonts, a few of your submissions have these...we also like the idea of using something a bit more free feeling for the motto. We like the warm colors that we're seeing however we feel like we're only seeing one color scheme and would like to see some different ideas still staying away from pastels and wanting to keep it simple and not anything flashy or too much color - classy. We like the trees and crosses we're seeing but we're also hoping to see some different ideas as well....I'll copy this to each of the current submissions' pages from this Contest Discussion section as well to make sure you all are able to read this!
#43 is our favorite so far as it took the emphasis off of Gaylord. Something about the symbol isn't right to us though. We really like it, but for me it reminds me of a piece of jewelry for some reason. The tree is really cool though, so maybe it's how the circle is around it. #45 is very cool but we're concerned that you can't see the full cross (you loose the bottom and top since it's white on white). We like the idea of the cross coming out of the circle as you have it, but it does need to be something that will work on a white background. We really like the font you choose though for this design...probably our favorite so far!
changes over the cross... I made it more "evident" and I think is still modern .... also I changed the motto's font to be more coherent with the main one.... I hope you like the changes
We ranked your blue design #2 b/c we like that it's a different color, different than all of the gold/brown we've been seeing. We'd like to see the cross in #54 with edges like the bottom of the tree in #52 and with the circle around in a slightly different color to make the cross stand out more.
We have to be honest, we're trying to get away from the cross/tree designs a bit. We love your choice of font though...do you have any other ideas of a symbol to use? Also we would really like to see more designs with the symbol a bit more integrated into the text where it's not so separate looking.
