I think #18 is very creative. I'm not sure if that is what we are looking for. I would like to see it in some different colors. I am a fan of a very dark blue. Similar to what you used in #20...maybe even a little darker. The only thing I don't like about #18 is that is has to be a lower case E. I don't know if that sends the correct message.
I like the concept of a building like you did w/ #20. I think I am leaning more towards a shorter building (similar to what you created w/ #26 & 25). I don't think I want the G & E worked into the logo though.

#26, can you work on that one a little bit? I have changed my mind and am interested in the concept of the G&E. Can you turn the G round where it reads the other direction? Also, I am not crazy about the gold color. I do like deep navy blue, orange, & grey.
