On this one I brought magnets in on both the 'U' and the 'C'. I can do more with the text over all so that it isn't so flat and dull, maybe some gradients to give it a reflective metal look or more depth to the oval which is casting a shadow.
I brought a magnet in as the 'U' in fun and even though an obvious one that most designers would think of it's a natural one. I tried to make the 'magnetics' as high tech yet as fun as possible. There are little circular shapes in the letters that tie into the large circular enclosure I used to sort of frame the logo. It can represent a steel ball that the magnet is stuck to, or just a shape to bring depth to the logo with the way I added a light source to it, to make it look like a sphere. I made the primary color a deep orange but brought in the grey which is a great compliment to orange.
