Hey man. Thanks so much for the awesome work. You'll notice that I selected the one with the rounded B. I love it. Can we discuss colours etc by email? I'm at matt.fullbrook@rogers.com
I'm still not 100% decided on the colour scheme, but I'll give you some feedback on that ASAP. One weird issue that came up when I circulated again to my colleagues is that several of them said "I don't understand why the 'E' in 'Effectiveness' is pink". Of course they understood when I explained it to them, but I wonder if it's worth trying something to make the connection between the words and the emblem clearer.
What would it look like, for instance, if the entire word "effectiveness" was coloured? Is that a bit too much? Any thoughts appreciated.
I've just circulated a bunch of your submissions to my colleagues. Most of them liked this one the best. The most common gripe came from the fact that most of us work at the Rotman School at U of T. The colours are very reminiscent of Rotman's scheme. I think they might be on to something.
Have a look at this page for Rotman's brand guidelines, but maybe the best indicator is the photo of the stairs at the top of the page:
Yeah this is seriously too much at this point. I have 70 submissions from the last 2 hours sitting there unranked because I just don't have the time to think about all of them
dang this contest is dragging on...yes I know it can get a wee bit overwhelming for people running a project. The reason you have so much eye candy so good some crap is because of the dollar value. If you ran it at the min price you probably get maybe 40-60.
Keep in mind your 200+ is not as many as you think minus all the tweaks of the same design.
Wow I wish I had an answer for you. I've received over 200 submissions. A lot of really good ones and a lot of variety. It's been pretty overwhelming actually
Yeah this is very cool. I also really like that the border (i.e. the circle) is more defined. A colleague of mine wondered what it would look like as a square...
This is very nice stuff, Scott. I like the lettermark approach and especially like that it's got a nice balance of professional and creative. I'm definitely interested in seeing some more abstract submissions, too. All of the "abstract" submissions so far have taken my guidance pretty literally. Wouldn't mind seeing something a bit more original.
And yeah I'm born and raised in TO. I'm out east a handful of times per year.

We may need to adjust the colour scheme a bit to distance this logo from the Rotman brand. Any ideas?

The design I am not 100% happy with it needs a wee bit of work. Maybe we can make this a Made in Canada design.
I try to make it a point to head back to TO once a year but not this year.

Initial mockup for your consideration. I was born and raise din TO but now reside in HFX. Are you a TO native?
