See if you like this design, based on army ranking stripes, the F and the F reversed form an A. Tried to keep it simple but effective, with the logo able to work on anything. The logo itself forms a fulcrum. I normally don't enter this early, as there's along way to go, but I had the idea and thought I'd better get it out there before someone else does.
#17 super cool. Although I like it visually, the star and font makes it seem too american patriotic to me. Not a good time for that. It looks like a modern US military logo which is negative and I wonder what it would take to make it retro/oldschool military?
#29 #31 good direction, however mountain badge has an alien uniform look and, while being really pretty, sunrise feels too asian or cereal boxish. Not being flip.
Would something more organic work in the arms of the FA, or would that clash? Some of the old army patches were curved sillohettes of things (like horses and cannons and such)
Hey buddy, hope you are having good holidays. My girl got a big dollhouse and a ton of loot. Good times.
#81 looks too scarab/beetle like. In regards to the badge/shield concept: I have been receiving feedback from many people in my world that it looks too military and old school (which guess is what I like about it). Anyway, feel free to try anything. I do like the opposed Fs which make an A, and the colors are great as is the concept and finish of all your designs.
You have one piece in your profile with a reflection below the logo. Could that be used to complete something? It might be cool regardless. Cheers, Philip Folsom
#84 is great. Really good font but the words seem to be in the wrong place in the circle. Slick FA in center. The head/globe cut out inside feels strange to me although I like the curve on the outside just not the inside. Would like to see some variations of that, and would be open to looking at anything (which I know you have been doing all along).
#87, I really like where you are going with that. Circle badge in a graphic is a cool departure. I didn't get arrowhead (it looked hoofish) but I like the concept of the arrowhead/fulcrum/mountain shape very much.
The reflection is cool and also the orange fade is very classy, as is all your work.
