Thanks for ranking my design. Let me know and changes you would like to see in color or graphics. I wan't sure what type of sight to use. any direction is welcomed. Thanks again!
Hi Brian, Thanks for the good work. As you can see you hit 1st place right off the bat..Colors and concept are great! The target image is good. Can you complete the bottom of the target circle and the cross hair ends? The Placement of the Frontsight box does not need to be centered. The way you have it looks good.
Hi Brian, Your entry #44 is great. I like the direcrion you are taking. I like the slight slant on the font. Could you do something to emphasize Armory,LLC like #31? and possibly taper the ends of the lines on either side of Armory,LLC? Even a tapered end with a dot at spear end of taper.... Thanks, Fred
Hello Brian, If you have any color options feel free to go for it. I had mentioned earth tones in the breif because the logo may be used with camo.... I like your #34 concept. Can you pull the box away from the crosshair center a bit? if you could, taper the crosshair end tails and omit the two perpendicular small stub lines. It may make it look more like a vintage compass than a scope, but the effect may be good. In fact the crosshair end mod might look good on #44 as well... Thanks again. Fred
As much as I hate to do it, I may have to bring a "logo dispute" on #49 for designing way too close to my original design concept. I hate to do it because I think it looks petty and I fell like it annoys the Contest Holder (you), but sometimes I have to protect my designs from the scavengers. Just wanted to give you a heads-up.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see, but I will continue to improve it on my own also. Did I get the cross hairs right?
I hear you on the #49 dispute, and do what you need to...
On a lighter note, I do like these crosshair ends alot better. The black outline of the pistol could be finer, and stay within the circle.. Should "Armory,LLC" be a bit bigger? Another item is the sight in the O on the Frontsight. Could you make it just regular O with a red dot in the center? Might be better than the double scope images in the same logo. I guess you could make the tip of the I in Sight red as a third variation, leaving the O plain...Any other color ideas??
Hi Brian I like the image revisions. #77 Rocks...I think the Frontsight Armory needs to stand out a little better. Maybe the color fade in the font lets it blend a little too much. Could you use the color pallet from your #44 entry? Maybe without the drop shadow in the background(s) ? This logo will be mostly used with screenprinting and embroidery. This is my first "Contest".... What file formats can/will you provide for me if chosen? Thanks again, Fred
Brian I also realized that the slide on the pistol is notched. In this image it should not have any notch or slide release. I think a left side image was reversed to get this as it is. (Should look more like entry #49 pistol) Hope you can work it out. Thx Fred
Hi Brian, Hope you are not getting tired of me...I thank you for all of the revisions. The #80 is pretty much there. Good work!! My partner has a couple of revisions to propose... Could you eliminate the dot in the center of the crosshairs? That would clear up the trigger area, and just the lines coming together would be easier to screen. The second is to eliminate the line under Frontsight and move Armory up a bit. Also tightening up/shrinking the black box background around the text up a bit to expose the bottom of the pistol and the circle. The lines on the sides of Armory would stay- I like that feature. All of your designs have been great, and I think we are almost there. Thanks,Fred P.S. I know the color scheme is very adjustable down the road, but if you have any ideas please feel free to let er' rip..
Brian- just to clairify, the #80 is the only image for final revisions, and the pistol still has a lever just above the trigger hanging down, and should not be there. (The lever would be on the other side of the pistol completely)....Slide should have clean lines back past the grip..I have a bunch of customers that would point that out daily, gun guys are picky about that kind of stuff....they can be a pain in the .......
