Hi this is extra fun because I actually live in Los Altos - behind Montclaire School!!!! Please clarify exactly what wording you want in the logo design... I looked at your website, linked in and other references on line and could not get much direction from that. Hope you like my initial designs and give me feedback for direction...

I have been trying to think of symbols of Los Altos... maybe the clock or the light pole style that is downtown... with all the new renovations there seems there should be something to symbolize the city ... but doesn't do it for me. needs to be bold enough to be readable on signs and distinctive... I recall that JP did her signs with yellow background that stood out... but suggest you do it VERY different from her. Might be good to know your focus positions... I saw you were active in the education side. anything else? I was on MEF at Montclaire when my kids were there... and also on the GATE committee at the District... but that was a long time ago.
No symbols needed, I think. Love the idea, but need simple. Can't think of anything positive (only "burn" -- haha).
Thanks so much! For entry #10, could you remove "friends of" and delete "Los Altos" as it is. Then add "Los Altos" on the same line and same font as City Council. Thanks so much! Karen
