I don't like the circle around the 'big C' or the underline of STATE SENATE ... Also, there's no need to have Carlton E. Smith twice in the same logo ;-)

On each in this style, can you slightly increase the space between STATE and SENATE? It seems to run together a little.

Also, I think you are onto something with the 'big C' standing alone and not incorporated into the text itself. Nice work!

Thanks for asking! The logo we are working on is actually Carlton E. Smith for State Senate, which is the name of the campaign. I understand the confusion because the name of the organization funding the campaign is Friends of Carlton E. Smith. So just focus on Friends of Carlton E. Smith :-)

Let's see this one without FRIENDS OF and with for instead of For and in the same font as the rest :-)
