Or something with a human and a dog- Friends Again Dog Training is so named because I work hard to make "man's best friend" a reality. I haven't seen anything that jumps out at me as "the one" but I think your style of design is exactly what I want.
Thanks! That is really cool that you are friend's with the owners of Scruffy to Fluffy Pet Spa! Are you looking for something more cartoony or realistic? I can definitely work on something incorporating a human into the design. Are you still thinking Blue/grey for a color combination? I will look forward to your reply. Thanks, Leah
I would lean toward cartoony, but simple. I like the basic outline of the dogs, though the design I ranked #2 for now has a great blend of detail and simplicity. I like blue/grey together, but you can definitely include other colors as well. Thanks for being flexible!
Please see #45, #47 and #48. Is this kind of what you had in mind for incorporating a human in the logo? If you have any thoughts or ideas on how I could make the logo better I would love to hear them. Thanks, Leah
Those don't look like what I want- it's a little too much. I think I need to simplify it, since nothing so far has hit me as "the one". How about keeping the lettering of #26, and the curve above it, but do a different image? I'm thinking a dog running flat out, like here:
Does that make sense? Perhaps even having a person kneeling with arms out to the dog so it looks like the dog is running its heart out to get to the person. I know there isn't a lot of time, but if it looks like we're on to something I'll just keep your image in the top 5 until we can find something good.
Thank you for the ranking! I did another one with the man and the dog using the latest version of the dog and I worked more on the man. Please let me know if you have any ideas you would like me to try or if you have any suggestion on making the logo better. Thanks, Leah
I'm still not sold on the man in the picture. Maybe because I'm a female trainer, so it seems strange to have a guy in my logo. I also think that it's all too scrunched together. Can you try moving the person back and making it simpler- even if you only draw the outer profile of someone so the style looks more like the dog?
One other little detail I'd like to see change is the dog's tongue. Can you make it a little bigger, like:
For entry #66 I tried to make the figure more generic. There are no facial features and you can not see the back side of the figure. This way it could be a man or a women.... On entry #68 shows the dog with the change in tongue.
I love the figure in #66- that's definitely more my style. I think the tongue could still be bigger. The second picture of my dogs that I attached to the brief is what I'd like. I accidentally selected that I don't have the copyright to that picture, but I actually do. I'm thinking a more open mouth and the long panting tongue- maybe even hanging out the side of the mouth, like this:
I'd also like to see the letters in a different font, though I love the colors. I'm thinking something more rounded or fun, just to see if I like it better.
or something similar? So far everyone I've asked has liked 68 the best and I think I agree. It really captures what I want. I may like it better if the colors were swapped so 'again' is brighter blue and Friends is darker.
Great! Can 'Friends Again; be the same font as 'Dog Training'? Do you think it would look better if 'dog training' was a different color? Like the dark blue of everything else? It just seems to stand out in grey, but not in a good way.
