Would prefer something that involves more than one color. I'd also like the dogs to not be blocks of solid color- outlines would be better.

That's definitely closer. I think if the smaller dog were facing the opposite way I'd like it more. Also if it was dark blue and grey- I don't like these colors. So a step in the right direction, but I'm not sold on it yet. I'd be open for other ideas as well.
