After reviewing your brief and what you are looking for, this is the idea I came up with. A custom wordmark that has both an arrow to indicate the "and counting", as well as a "no" sign to reflect your stance on abortion. I felt that the logo shouldn't be too busy and needed to be bold and memorable for those who saw it. Also, the 40 with the "no" sign could be an alternate icon that could stand on it's own as needed!
