While re-reading the brief and looking at the symbol again, my imagination just got triggered, and now I can actually see the white symbol shape as four abstract fingers reaching out in to a well. It's also a kind of a move there, because the thumb is not there yet, so it can really suggest the "reaching out" action (from proverb's concept).
With some tweaks to the design it will look even closer to what I've described. :D
Maybe it's funny, or maybe can be a useful idea. What do you think?
Do you mean they see the overall white shape as an feather? Or only one element?
The only thing to me that looks like a feather, it's the abstract "C", inside the "F" dashes.
I've uploaded an example #296 with the highlighted "C" that to me looks like a feather and for you to see and please clarify if I understood correctly.
One more request. My first reaction to the mark was that I saw the semblance of a flag and the "F". I have had some colleagues say that they see a feather which is not what I want. Could you try one to make the "flag" look a little less like a feather?
Hi!
New font update, a bit more rounded than this entry. I used it in different combos (uppercase, lowercase letters, different weights), please check:
I was re-reading your comment here, if is "Ford" in the same font as "Consult" and I think I've misunderstood the question earlier by saying that is not.
What I wanted to say is that it is the same font family, only that I changed the weight of the font to look slimmer (weight example: light, regular, medium, bold, etc.)
Basically I've used the Light and Medium weight of the same font so they are not mixed different fonts but only different weights.
This is what I wanted to say, hope I didn't confused you.
I keept "Consult" the same weight as original entry, only that I've changed "Ford" to a thinner weight but it's still bolder that "Consult", to give a nice contrast.
"Consult" has more soft curves. "Ford" appears to be more square. That is what I mean by making "Ford" less square or blocky. It's good for it to be more bold than "Consult"
For your consideration, this concept with a symbol that means water ripples on water surface, in a abstract way that is suitable for this type of business.
The ripples also make the shapes of initials '' F '' and '' C '' if you look closer and long enough.

By less blocky do mean the letters to be more light, like "Consult"?
