Gary, #254 is not the requested wine glass graphic. This one is the die cut stamp cut out but #254 is not. Please make the change to reflect die cut stamp cut out.
Gary, please remove the arrow above the dU and shrink the wine graphic to match the size of #249. Also, please change the tag line to read.
We'll plan. You enjoy.
Gary, sorry to be nit picky but I also notice that the arrow in #244 is a bit different than #241. I really like #241. There seems to be some space between the edges of the U and the arrow. The arrow also looks just a tad different . Can you please make this one look exactly like #241 and apply the gloss effect as in #240
Gary, when compared to #241 the font seems a tad bit thicker and the circle graphic here looks a bit bigger ? Am I right or does it just seem that way because of the color change ? If so, can you change the thickness of font and size of circle to match #241
Gary can you take this exact arrow and place it into the middle of the U as if it was floating. May have to shrink it down. I would like to keep the shape of the U as is
Hey Gray, thanks for the input, however the arrow above, inside, and around the U is my idea and have directed other designers to implement accordingly. Therefore, I feel confident that there is no ethical boundaries that you would be crossing by implementing. However, if you still fell uncomfortable, I understand
Hi gbenjamin, Good morning. One designer already did placed the arrow inside the "U" so it's not ethical for me do that since we are already in the open phase. It would be better to let that designer improve on his design. Unless the idea of putting arrow inside letter U was originally from you, then we are allowed to do the same. Thank you for your understanding.
Great new designs! Thank you. For this one, can replace the arrow from on top of the dU to inside the U. Might need to shrink it down. Place in middle as if floating
I think we are getting close. Take away the arrow on the circle and apply just the top of an arrow ( only two diagonal lines that meet at a point) above the "dU"
Simplicity is always the best thing. Maybe we can use two icons separately according to your necessity of usage? just a thought. But i wiill try to come up with something and send it to you asap. Thanks for waiting... gary
This is the other one I keep coming back to. I LOVE the FoodUP font with the wine glas inside the U, but hate to loose the wine glass inside the circle as in #47. 2 wine glasses seem redundant. I can sacrifice the arrow, But I don't want to loose either wine glass unless there is GREAT substitute for the circle icon. Any ideas ?
Hi Gary. Thank you for all your hard work! I keep coming back to this one. Can you change the font to the same as #104. Regarding the U, please keep the exact shape of U and the stem of wine glass, but remove the shade that represents the actual wine. And make the font 1 or 2 points thinner
Also can you subtract the lighter orange outline of inner circle? If you look at #104, the circle seems to only have the ledge effect given to white surrounding circle. It doesn't seem to have a second light orange inner circle.
Hi Gary, I'm looking at the word FoodUP and it lioks off. The "F" looks slightly cut off whe the "P" seems to carry further into the right of white surrounding edge. Can you tighten this up a bit? Can you also please make that beveled edge on top of wine glass (that gives it the stamp out feel) just a bit thinner
Gary this looks great! Love your die cut effect with arrow and thinning outline of arrow looks much better to me now. Can you do this exact logo but replace the arrow with the wine glass.
Hey Gary, can you make the arrow less transparent and more opaque just like in #104. I want it to look like its a die cut out in the shape of an arrow. Also, if you compare this "FoodUP" shape to #104, you'll notice #104 curves in a bit more. Can you apply this to #130
Hi gbenjamin, Good morning :) I'll check on your new request and see what i can do to render them effectively. Will submit them as soon as possible. Thanks... gary
Glen, this is contination from above feedback. 4) apply same concept as #104 to this with these specifics. Replace translucent wine glass with translucent arrow and place wine glass inside the U
5) replace wine glass with arrow. Apy stamp out effect like #104 and put wine glass in side the U
6) Keep wine glass in place but add an arrow inside the U
7) make wine glass look like stamp out effect like arrow in #104
No problem, thank you for your efforts. Can we try a couple
More things? I don't fully love the city skyline. So for this one, can you try 1) applying some transparency like you did with the wine glass so both have it and 2) apply transparency to city and make wine glass more opaque. 3) Can you try a couple different versions of the city scape with different styles ?
No problem gbenjamin :) working now on it. I just had to do an urgent errand few hours ago but will send the revisions as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding... gary
Glen can we also try working with this logo a bit. I really like it but want to try some other possibilities. Substitute wine glass with an arrow pointing up. Ide love to see it as a stamped out die cut type effect. Maybe implement the wine glass inside the U. Also can you make the font 1 or 2 points thinner? Not sure if it's too much to try to add an outline of a city scape somewhere above the FoodUP. Might be too much so I'll leave it up to your discretion
Gary thanks. Can you try to apply a globe type effect to this? No idea if it will look good, I'm curious to see though. Also , can you refine the reflection a bit ? I'm not 100% that its hitting me the right way, but it's really close.
Nice. I like the new wine glass. But can you try a more elegant looking wine glass that is wiser on bottom and taper up to a more narrow lip versus the current curvy one? Curious to see what the logo would look like if the inner white was a color . Can you try ? Also, I don't like the grey
Yes! I love the font. Not sure about orange on orange. Sky line is very detailed and looks a bit jumbled when zommed out. Can you simplify a bit. Also, regarding reflection, can you make it look like it's coming at me instead of reflecting straight down? Can you make reflection look like its on a more glossy surface ?
This is fantastic! Really digging it. Can you continue to throw a few more versions of this my way? Perhaps add a reflection to bottom as if the log was sitting on a super shiny white marble floor. Maybe also a full glossy version or even a 3D globe version? Also, please try adding a color combo to the mix like a grey that compliments this orange. Finally can you apply a couple other color combos (even though Im digging the orange)?
Font looks better but i still don't love t. Looks a little too vertical maybe? Can you refer to the font I attached in my brief. I think it's the 2nd attachment "Proto.io" can you work with that some ? Also try giving the "up" a different color or some distinguishable feature from food?
#37 and #38 are a much better version than original and they have definitely come to life more. However, the word foodUP still looks a bit plain to me. Can you offer different drafts of the wine glass inside the U? I like the concept but for some reason it's not grabbing me the way I had hoped.
Hi. I love the Wine icon but Im do not like the font or effect applied to "foodUP". I actually like the font of your original submission #17 better because it looks less business like. Can you get creative with the font and effects and lets see what you come up with? In addition to glossy/reflective effect, I would enjoy seeing aged/distressed or stamp pad type effects as well.
Thanks Gary, I really think this concept has a TON of potential. I don't know how to describe any better than to say I just want it to pop more and come to life. I'll rely on your creative expertise to execute on this
In addition comments on log #17, can you play around with the circle here. Perhaps a patch effect, or paint splash, or antique/distressed effect? Something more than a plain red circle could provide some energy to this concept.
Hi. I am liking the concept here with the wine glass inside the U. At what point in the tourney do you add effects like glossy or add depth? I would like to see this concept come to life a little more. Can you please refine the font, more modern and sleek and remove the infinity symbol?
