Thanks for your submission! I love the simplicity and you've captured the spotlight feel probably the best of any entries.

I would love to see the spotlight hitting the name rather than a mask. I think that would be really fun and elegant.

Thanks again HerDish! Hope to see more of your great submissions!

Thank you for the updates. I think you are on the right track!

I like that you've used 2 different fonts, but feel that the font used for "Folsom" is a little hard to read. The "o" could be mistaken for "u"???? Would love to see additional choices for this.

Since I'm looking to use this logo on marketing materials as well as logo wear, how would it look on different backgrounds while incorporating our studio colors of purple, black, silver/gray and white?

Looking forward to seeing more of your brilliant ideas. Thanks!

Again... thank you for the adjustments! I think we're getting closer and closer.

I may have mislead you in my original feedback about #15-#17... I like that the font used for "Folsom" has the feel of an autograph, but is there a similar font where the "o" would be more closed up so it couldn't be mistaken for a "u"?

I LOVE the color idea you incorporated into #40-#41. Could I see it in purple (our studio color) instead of pink?

Thank you again for your hard work!

if you dont like that purple scheme, i can try another purple if you wish

Love what you did with the "trophy" icon in #94! Could see using that all by itself on t-shirts and things.

Also love the readability of "Academy of the Arts" font in # 88. Would be beautiful using the coloring you incorporated into #73

Gorgeous #94! Can you incorporate our purple and make the Academy of the Arts more prominent? It's so important that when people see my sign driving by that they know what we do :)

I like the lettering for Academy Of The Arts in #118 but is it possible to get it a little bolder font?

if it's not too much to ask, I'd like to see the purple to white color fade incorporated into the figure holding the star. Leave Folsom in white and use the white-to-purple-to-white color fade on Academy Of The Arts. I'm thinking that might give the focus I need to the words Academy & Arts. Use your judgment on color choice for the tagine.

Could I see a version of this design with and without the tagline?

#118 and can we lengthen the arm that's not holding the star? just noticed that it might feel a little out of proportion.

You are also more than welcome to play with the shape or style of the abstract dancer/trophy

thank you sir,
here an update per your suggestion,
edited #118

#143 - bolder text
#144 #145 - fading purple text, you are right sir, fading purple make the text live prominent and strong,
#146 - fading purple to character, but i think it make a little busy
#147 - not holding star,

i think, character holding/raise the star, help people to understand your tagline, put to the spotlight, and in same time bringing feel, that every person, can catch their dream (raise to the star).

my best regards

I totally agree that we need the character holding the star. Let's put that back in for sure! #147

In general, can we change out the small stars that are twinkling in the spotlights? To me they might look a little bit like the mathematical symbol for addition (+) or a cross.

#144 #145 I think we're on the right track!!! Could we reverse it so that the purple is in the middle and it bleeds out to white on the outside ends? What if the entire tagline were in white including the word spotlight? I have a little trouble seeing it on the black. But maybe that's just me????? ;-)

#146 I tend to agree. What if you put the purple at the base of the trophy so that it bleeds to white up the body of the character?

I hope I'm not being too picky... I just feel REALLY strongly about your design and that this may be the one we choose!

One last request (for now)...
I think what you've done will look phenomenal on printed materials where I have the option of choosing a dark background. What options do we have in doing a color reverse or something of that nature if I have to use a white background for illuminated signage and/or other promotional materials?

As always... I appreciate your dedication to this project!

Thank you for the options. That helps a lot.

At this point #156 is my favorite.

I like the word "spotlight" in white. Let's keep that for now.

I think I like the purple starting at the base of the trophy as you have it.

Could I see "academy of the arts" the following way (or something similar):
AC (white) AD (start to fade to purple) EMY OF THE (purple) AR (start to fade to white) TS (white)
It's pretty much the reverse of what you have!

Once these little adjustments are made, this would be the one I'd want to see on a white background for potential signage purposes.

In the spotlights themselves... I like the new star shape you chose! How do you feel about the balance of those?
