#2 I would like to see more of block lettering in academy or a different font. #4 This one is an interesting idea. I may want a slight variation of this one but I am not sure how. Please switch the academy font as well so I can see it like that.
You are on the right path. Can you try to add some red to maybe #5 like red splashes instead of white and black? I want to see what it looks like with some color It may suck but I am just curious of the look.
#7 Try to replace the white and black with red. I am trying to give the decision maker some options. Since you are the only one entering I think if you have a good shot for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
#5 Can you flip the colors as well? I am not sure if you can show it on a black background but that would be great. white FM and Black Tennis with the border being white. All of our flyers and business cards are going to be black.
any design can be adapted for a black background... and be confident you will get more entries - most come in the last 2 days of the contest.... but I hope I do stay in the top three positions <g> Happy to make changes but maybe wait a day or two to see what else comes in....
didn't see your note in the general area... if you add shading it will require gradients that is great for web and print on paper but you will also need to like it without that gradients if you want to do printing on mugs, shirts (embroidery) engraving on awards etc....
My primary business is promotional and incentive materials I run into this often. You can have gradients and shading on some version and not on others.
#8 I really like this one. I feel like we have the ability to mix and match the black, white and red for different reasons...flyer color but most importantly t shirts and dry fits. It also matches our sponsor Athletic DNA. I know he will want to see maybe the color go from dark to light on the academy and or on FM Tennis. Not extreme, just a little. He may want to see that same look with white academy and the standard distress look. You guys are doing great. We appreciate the quick response and hard work.
on your tshirts and dryfits you will need to either stay away from gradation or you will need to use digital printed transfers to imprint... or direct digital print... you should ask your supplier about that (we do these all the time and printing gets a bit tricky sometimes) Hope you are happy with the results you get.
REmember also you may need a version that is easy to engrave, etch or embroider!
on #8 and #5 let's try a different look of the letters, maybe use some cracks or chunks of a wall look instead of splatters. Those 2 are very close to what we are looking for.
