One final edit to this one: Please move the word 'Flour' down just a little tiny bit so that the word is centered on the Peace Symbol (like the word 'Power' is. thanks
Pink - I think this is the one that my wife likes the best. She likes how the Peace sign looks almost transparent... Can you just fix the spacing between the word 'Power' and the flowers? And please reverse the two flowers on the right (small one on top, big one on bottom) to see how that looks. Thanks!
gorgeous! please flip the flowers just northwest of the word 'Power' so that the big flower is below the small flower. then, make sure that these flowers are the exact same distance away from 'Power' as the top flowers are from 'Flour'
Pink -- we fully intend to select your work as our winner. Our problem is that so many of your combinations are really attractive and we are not sure which one to select as the winner.
I need to check with my wife later today. The direction is great and what we may end up doing is agreeing on a main structure and then giving ourselves options of colors depending on special occasions or promotions
what if you made the peace symbol and the background (the center yellow sections on this logo) one contiguous tie-dye pattern, but made the background/center sections faded or more transparent? that way we could see the entire tie-dye pattern but the central section (the background) would be very soft compared the peace symbol itself.
thanks Pink. Once we go to the next step we may also experiment in a different way with tie-dye. For example, make the peace symbol a solid color and make the words tie-dye, or only make the background tie-dye, etc...
Hello,
I am struggling to find the right tie-dye pattern :) You see it's difficult to create in Illustrator a vector file that has this watercolor tie-dye effect. One more issue is that the peace symbol doesn't give much space for colors to show.
Anyway I am experimenting with some new effects and very shortly I'll upload new versions.
Thank you!
Pink
I like the balance of this one in regard to the connection of colors but I think we will be spending some time thinking about what is the best tie-dye pattern to use that is not too busy or difficult on a logo. Please try to lighten the rolling pin a little so it is just a little bit darker yellow that the center of the peace symbol. thanks
Don't really like this tie-dye -- please keep experimenting. Also, can you try to rolling pin in brown with white letters, and maybe tan with black letters? thanks
Please check #72, #73, #75 versions.
In these versions I've:
1) lighten the yellow in the middle a little bit;
2) placed different tie-dye patterns on the Peace Symbol;
3) used solid colors on the rolling pin at the bottom; and 4) play with different fonts for 'Bakery'.
Let me know which version you prefer or if you want to make a combination.
Hi Pink -- can you try a couple of small adjustments/alternatives for this logo: 1) lighten the yellow in the middle a little bit; 2) experiment with different tie-dye patterns on the Peace Symbol; 3) play with some solid colors on the rolling pin at the bottom; and 4) play with different fonts for 'Bakery'. We love this logo but may spend some time with you tweaking things...
#61, #62 variations.
I think that this soft orange-yellow background looks nice, it suits with the flowers and it makes logo looks bright and joyful. #62 is its grayscale version.
Do you like them?
Pink - I love this new logo. The one thing that I worry about is the empty white spaces in the peace symbol. Is it possible to soften that by filling it with a very, very pale color? What do you think?
I'm not sure it will work with baked goods -- I haven't dismissed the idea completely but I'm afraid it will be too busy. In the meantime, please try this same logo without the baked goods but with more flowers instead. Please google 'frangipani' (the national flower of Laos is called Champa, which is the same as Frangipani). Please see if you can use images of this flower with a large one at the center and a few others scattered on the sides. Thanks
Pink -- we are interested for you to try to combine some of the elements of this logo, with some parts from your #6. Try the rolling pin below (where you write ' Bakery') but with some tie-dyed color. Also, make the flower in the middle a tiny bit bigger, and instead of flowers on the other parts of the peace symbol scatter some baked goods instead (try two versions, one with only 2: a bagel and a cupcake, and one version with 4: a bagel, a cupcake, a bread roll, and the granola bar). Thanks
Pink -- can you try this one again with a thinner peace symbol? I think it should be the same width as the text. Maybe try two versions: one with clean, curved lines (no texture) and another with only a little texture to the peace symbol lines (not as lumpy as it is currently). Thanks.
Pink -- Try making the actual peace symbol a solid color (try several) and scatter a few flowers on the peace symbol. Then put the tie dye color in the background of the peace symbol. Understand? Thanks!
I like several different styles you have tried. I like the clean circle in this one, but what if you also made the circle itself a flower? Not too complex but instead of simple circle maybe add some texture so the circle looks like a flower
something like that -- that looks a little lumpy though. Can you make the thickness of the peace symbol uniform? I guess you will have to adjust the flowers in that case. Please try the same thick border on your entry # 16 as well -- give the peace symbol a little 'texture' or curve, but keep the overall thickness uniform. thanks
how about using the same thick line as the text to outline the peace symbol. Then color the flowers in a sort of tapestry in line with the text colors (i.e. blue on the left and gradually moving through the spectrum - purple, red orange, yellow, green - to the right side of the image)
How about doing this exact same logo but without the extreme sharp edges of the circle that form the peace symbol? How would it look if the lines had some texture -- sort of like how the words curve up and down? I like how clean the logo looks but feel the contract between the curvy words and the sharpness of the peace symbol doesn't quite fit...
You are making so many cool logos it will be hard to choose! Please play with this one a bit: Stretch 'Flour' and 'Power'; Try the flowers in a single color and in multiple colors, etc. Wow!
Please check my new drafts #16, #17, #18, #19, #20.
As you'll see I've tried a new direction by incorporating the flower and peace symbol inside the text, I think it looks interesting.
Also #19 & #20 can be used as a sticker on your packagings, they're bright, colourful and feminine :)
What do you think?
Thanks Pink -- Also, take a look at the orange colored logo I put up for the tournament as an example. I like how the peace symbol is clear as a background and the flowers (not too many!) are scattered on the peace symbol. Perhaps try combinations of that type of base, with the Flour Power Bakery text in different positions, and the use of tie-dye colors in different places (e.g. within the words themselves, on the flowers, etc.)
Hi Pink -- I really like how 'clean' your designs are. I like the font and the balance. Try changing the baked goods to flowers and make them in tie-dyed colors. The play with different colors for the font (I really like the bold/outlined font version you create in #5)
I really like this font and how you put 'Bakery' below the peace sign. Please leave the words where they are now, but turn the rest of the logo into actual flowers, and try the whole thing in tie-dyed colors. thanks

I've centered 'Flour' to the peace symbol and adjusted flowers.
Very shortly I'll make the changes you mentioned.
Thanks
After talking with your wife let me know which version you prefer.
Thank you!

#62 is its grayscale version.
Do you like them?
Here's the version with the 'frangipani'.
I think it looks beautiful!
Thanks,
Pink
Shortly you'll get the variations.
Thanks :)
I think this one #54 is the best.
I made #45, #46 new drafts.
They have a delicate, elegant style.
Thanks
I'll give it a try.
I'll have to turn off my computer now but I'll work more on it later.
Thank you
I'll work more on this design as you say.
Thanks!

I'll adjust the design according to your comments and submit new drafts.
Best,
Pink
Please check my designs #5, #6, and let me know your comments.
