Comment Activity TillyDes!gn commented on #363 Withdrawn Here is an example of using a touch of bold, and a touch of clean simplicity. Still bold enough to read from a distance. A nice modern home that speaks to a more affluent clientele. 7 years ago TillyDes!gn commented on #337 Withdrawn I think of the white picket fence and it's tie to the American Dream, but it also fits the feel of old Florida. 7 years ago TillyDes!gn commented on #56 Withdrawn Hi Bill. Working on it this evening. Stay tuned. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #56 Withdrawn Can you work with this one a bit. first, lets change the tagline to "Lower Commission | Better Service". Try some different elements other than the white post. 7 years ago TillyDes!gn commented on #136 Withdrawn Thought this was kind of fun, but kept a professional feel. The scissors play on the "cut" commission theme, while communicating real estate. Bold clean colors look sharp on a sign. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #56 Withdrawn Hi Paul... my business partner totally threw something out there which changes the scope. Realtor competitors are going to tell customers that we are a flat rate company that lists your home and forgets you (like a flat rate discount FSBO MLS agent) and that we don't do what they do (full service realtor from listing to closing) He suggested we change the tagline altogether. I came up with "We Cut Commission ...Not Service" This might give you some new logo ideas. Sorry man. This is a really frustrating process. I know its late in the process of this tournament to change the scope like that.... but if I dont see anything I like from contest entries when this is over, can we award it to you if you are willing to work with us to create the concept? 7 years ago srqbill commented on #56 Withdrawn Hi Paul, Lets play with this a little more. Try the tagline graphic from your other version with the tilted tag for the word "save". Also, can we also try the word "for" inside a little monopoly house-like icon similar to what I have in my original logo for this concept? One solid color is fine for that, just a brainstorming thought. another option is to reverse color the word "for" so the background is dark and the letters for the word "for" are white. I don't know if that would make it all look too busy or not (with the tagline price tag). 7 years ago srqbill commented on #55 Withdrawn I kind of like the very first logo idea you had where the text for "List for less" text was inside the graphic itself. maybe in a more interesting way though. ...I dunno, just thinking out loud. What that does though is allows the tagline to stand out a bit more since its on it's own. just a thought. like I said, I will revisit this tomorrow. This is tough! but I know its really important to get right 7 years ago srqbill commented on #55 Withdrawn Thanks!! These are interesting Paul. It been a really long day so I will take a closer look tomorrow tomorrow when my head is clearer. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #37 Withdrawn I hope so man....cause so far I am not seeing anything I like in the contest. 7 years ago TillyDes!gn commented on #37 Withdrawn The tag as the focal point is intriguing as well. Already have an idea for that! 7 years ago TillyDes!gn commented on #37 Withdrawn The sign is a good idea. Traveling a bit today, but will get on it ASAP. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #37 Withdrawn the other thing I was thinking is we should avoid the color red. They are high-end homes, so I don't want them associated with a "red tag" sale. We can work on this one a bit, but let's try a new concept, as this one just isn't hitting me. I don't think this is focused enough on real estate. Maybe an abstract real estate post sign incorporated into a design? I don't know...just throwing ideas out there to incorporate real estate a little more without the commonly used home roof lines. I am open to new ideas and concepts. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #37 Withdrawn What I kind if like about the logo is how it stands out, the tag is a good idea, I dunno, maybe a tag should be the main design element? 7 years ago srqbill commented on #19 Withdrawn I like this one too. The orange catches you eye. It represents the sun which is always a Florida thing. THis one doesn't really capture the "real estate" aspect of the business though, and doesn't communiate "savings" either. The logo needs to communicate that its a real estate business, and also have "savings" represented somehow. 7 years ago srqbill commented on #21 Withdrawn I like the colors on this. I like that its bolder than many of the logos I am getting which are mostly text rather than graphic. That will look better on a yard sign. Not sure I like the house icon as I have seen that house on a bunch of logos already. Also, how do we incorporate the savings theme a little bit more? I think that too will make it more unique. Technically, we are called the Florida List For Less Team, so it's probably better if "Florida" is above "list for less", although I know that messes with the design aspects..... ,,,another possibility is to not have Florida in it at all, and just rely on the website name to incorporate Florida in it. I often refer to ourselves as "list For Less" without the Florida in it. 7 years ago
