Florida Craft Beer Summit 2015Logo Design Contest

Okay, an idea. Using this logo:
1) Lose the wavy outline. That reminds me of a badge.
2) Move "Florida Craft Beer Summit" and hop to just left/ underneath of the state of FL outline (You will definately need to play with the font size)
3) Have the circle with barley wrapped around the image of the FL state outline and "Florida Craft Beer Summit" and hop. Does that make sense?

How about put Sarasota in place of where Florida currently is. then add the year where Sarasota currently is. Then, you could play around with the placement/ style of the "Craft Beer Summit 2015"

Maybe even try playing with a different way to get the "Craft Beer Summit 2015" incorporated.

I'd like to see the lines coming from the location (Sarasota) in place of the lines you have inside the circle on this one.

What I like about this one is the lines coming out of the location of the conference (Sarasota) I reall like the words "Florida Craft Beer Summit" and the hop. If there was just a way to pull it all together? (I'm not stuck on the size of the font. If you need to make it bigger, feel free)

I like this one, just don't "Love it" Would like to see a bit more detail in FL state and maybe try playing with the way/ location you use "Craft Beer Summit 2015"

Thanks for your feedback, I did only one colour to show that the logo can be use in any colour but i am going to work on more ideas.

This might not be too far off. Only thing is, to basic of a color scheme and I still don't like that design around the circle.

Thanks for the submission! I like the direction, however, I'm not digging the design around the circle. Also, the wording on top of the logo, coupled with the much bigger wording on the bottom, make the logo to big. Just too much stuff in the image I'm going for.
