Ok,...I've just uploaded logo source files for selected logo, required by LT, for you to download and approve. I was also able to convert and create .DST file type, although the universal .EPS file should be just fine to manage embroidery process.
Since LT upload engine allows only one .EPS and one .JPEG file, I've also sent entire logo files package to your e-mail, stated on the contract, so you should check that out as well and download entire package.
.DST file is not the usual file extension, and I'm not sure if I have the software to create it, but let me check it out if something can be done. I'll be back within an hour, or so with usual logo source files,...and this .DST file, if possible.
Hi Bojan,
Thanksbfor all your diligence and patience! We love what you have created with our input.
Can you include in the files a DST file type for embroidery?
Thanks again,
Phil
I've just uploaded suggested modifications,...thank you for provided reference,...it made it easier to understand what exactly you needed. Check out entries #403 and #404, with two and three branches, for comparisson.
Hi Bojan!
We are almost ready to choose a winner. One last request.... could you put the white staggered flooring lines on each plank to make it more uniform, and to me, not representative of a flooring tree. I did a markup on my phone of what we would like to see. I’m going to try to copy and paste it here, but if I can’t, though, is there another way to send this to you?
I personaly recommend this concept without the "1" included, simply because the element of tree trunk already symbolizes "one source" in simple graphic way, so including "1" as well, is basicaly double symbolism.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of further assistance,...so far, I'm very satisfied how this design developed - definite portfolio material.
Hi Bojan! I apologize for not getting back with you until now. Things of been super busy. Hate you had to deal with the dispute, but I think we are not going with the number one anyway. I really like this one, but your design in the beginning was better without all the breaks. Can you show me this one with the same colors, but with the lines being more like place of flooring. In other words, similar to the one in first place.
Thank you!
Katie
OK,...we're back on the track. Site administrator approved all elements of the design, so here's that version, with number "1" back into consideration.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience,...sometimes we just can't influence some things.
I am going to contact the logotournament people and appeal this because several designers have included the "1" at our request not of their own originality. No other designer should claim they came up with that design on their own. Stand by.
That entry was disputed by other designer, and I wasn't able to upload revisions during that process. I've backed down on defending my design, in order to be able to upload and forfil Katie's requests. If I upload it again, it'll be disputed again.
Thank you for recognizing the quality behind this design. Of course, we can do the modifications, but current 1st ranked design was desputed, because of the use of number 1 in the logo. I'm currently defending that design, but this apparently disabled my option to upload new designs. Since at this stage of the contest only active 1st ranked designer/design can upload revisions, you'll have to position another one of my entries into 1st position, so I'll be able to upload suggested modifications.
Hi Beardo, Congrats on the win. This is Katie with Flooring One Source. You may have already spoken with our owner, Phil Smith. He and I will both be collaborating with you. I like this one because the breaks in the flooring planks give it some texture, and to me it feels more like a tree. One thing I wasn't crazy about with the original design were the colors. It seemed a little dated and drab. This looks better, but they may be the same colors? I also like the different shades of green and blue being used
Suggestion: Make the breaks more random, maybe show us some more color options. All in all, it looks great! Thanks so much!
This is close. Please change the tiles to be longer with fewer separation lines. Typical flooring we sell is not square tiles, but longer rectangular tiles. Also, please make the number "1" wider to split the middle white line. Thanks!
You are right,...number 1 is part of your design breif from the start and contained even in logo text, so it is alowed element for everyone to use at any point of the contest. I'll make one version with number 1 incorporated. Be back soon with requested modifications.
Beardo,
Would you please reconsider including the number "1" in the planks of the tree? There were four other designers that incorporated the "1" in their designs:
Mighty Beaver
ndaru
Genrobo
White Splash Stud
Therefor, none of them can claim exclusive design rights since there were several independent submittals. I hope you see my logic and can accommodate this request.
Thanks very much,
Smithcos
Beardo,
We are about to award you the winner but need to see a couple of edits. Can you make the tree where all the floor tiles are the same width and make some of the longer planks have grout lines like flooring. Also, lines in between the planks as well to mimic what our flooring looks like when installed
I just realised this might be interpreted as "following the lead design", so I've withdrawn it - don't want to step on other designer's work. Sorry for inconvenience.
I really like this, but feel like it needs a more crisp font. . “Flooring should be a little smaller spaced to be flush with the larger “one source”. Thanks!
Could you make this with planks that do not have texture to them? Also, would like to see several versions using blues, greens, orange/crimson/yellow/brown (fall colors), etc....Thanks!
...I've mostly explored natural wood colors, but this one turned out interesting and unique, and since there's wood texture on the boards, it still has that warmer feeling, that wooden materials usualy evoke.
Hi Bojan,
After comparing the two, your first version where the planks are spaced out further is better. Thanks. I like seeing more color variations of this one, too, if you want to show more color options.
Thank you for the feedback. I've made requested modifications, but at this stage of the contest only first 5 ranked designers can upload revisions. If you want to chech it out, you'll temporarly have to move one of my entries into top 5 posotion. Thank you!

As soon as you declare the winning design, I'll start preparing logo source files for it.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience,....I thought this would be possible, but apparently until this dispute is resolved, I'm not able to upload revisions.
I'll probably have to withdraw disputed design, in order to upload quickly.
Be back soon!

Could you show us this logo with smaller spacing in between the planks and the name carrier plank and the angular planks? Thanks
