I like it. Based on the fact "Cooking Team" is in the middle, that becomes the focus of the logo. I need Flameworthy BBQ to be the focus. I realize swapping the two involves more work because Flameworthy is a longer word, but I think "Cooking Team" needs to be in the ribbon. Nice work.

Also, what would this logo look like on a black background?

Let's play around with the fonts ... maybe try something "weathered." Perhaps make the overall look of the logo more rugged.

Sound good, I was kinda thinking the same thing. Actually the Font is "rough" edged and weathered, but not to much (probably not even enough for you to see at this small size). I will try something a little more weathered. And, I'll also try something with a slab serif ... that may look a little more "outdoorsie" :)
I think we should probaby keep the "Cooking Team" the way it is...will make a nice contrast.

Thanks

Just posted 3 new font options:
The first one #50 is the same font only I made it's roughness more pronounced and "crusty".

Numbers #51 and $52 are new serif fonts (one slab and one sharp) ... which are also nice options :)

Thanks

Working with the other team members to determine adjustments. At the top of #31, you have the two-pronged fork and a spatula. The two-pronged fork is fine. Can you change the spatula to a knife or basting brush?

no problem, I'll give you some options.

Just posted 4 new ones...shown on white or black (nice shirt colors?). I used the 2 pronged BBQ pitch fork and a regular fork with the knife. I tried multiple brushes but they keep looking like a spatula, which we don't want. I think the 2 pronged forks and knife is the best way to go, it will reproduce the best because the regular fork might "fill-in" at small sizes, IMO.

Hey capitan are you near Leander, TX? I buy some stuff from LaRue and they send you their "Dillo Dust" BBQ rub, free with your order...sure is good stuff!!! But then again what would a northern NJ boy know
about BBQ .. ha ha ha.

Best to you,
Bill

We're about 90 miles southeast of Leander, Texas. Leander is next to Austin, and we're just north of San Antonio in Bulverde. Never tried Dillo Dust BBQ Rub. And as long as you think it's good stuff, that's all that matters!!!

Picking a winner today. Need the logo in vector format (layered, not flattened) for screen printing/embroidery. Need it in .eps, .ai, and .jpeg. Is that something you can provide if you win the contest?

Logo Designer
Yep, no problem, I can supply you any and all the formats you need.

The .ai and .eps (or even .psd) are the layered versions. Never heard of a layered jpeg, don't think that's
possible.
