Because it's easier to remember a word when you associate it with a picture, I decided to integrate in the logo, the silhouette of a fishing rod which is used both on salt or fresh water. The used letter characters are very balanced in composition with the design element . Any changes can be made, do not hesitate to leave feedback. Here is the neutral version (black on white).
I really like these logos. I think I prefer the logos without the "catch it" because it presents a nice square image. Is it possible to see the logo in a few different colors besides green and blue?
The "2" is an integral part of the name so is there a way to make it stand out so that it wont be missed when someone types in the web address?
Thank you for the feedback. Since there are endless color combinations, I chosen a few that are work well together. Please take a look for a few seconds on every one of them, because the more time you spent looking at the logo, you will understand the chromatics better. I'm starting with the logo that you liked, and made the "2" more obvious (But don't worry about it, even if we leave it white. Ask some people around, I'm sure that everyone will see it and type in the web address correctly).
I'm starting again with another set of logos, based on almost the same coloring, but in this one the number "2" is taken out of the letter "D" for better readability an maintaining the "square look" of the logo. Don't worry about other color changes, even after the contest is over. Any changes of any type can be made, until you are happy with the results I'm more happy to do them, because I really like and I'm proud how this logo turned out. Thank you.
These logos are fantastic. I really appreciate your willingness to put more logos together and also provide some information about your thought process.
I really like the logos with the 2 outside of the D because it takes care of any issue with seeing the number, but I also agree with you and will ask some people about what they see with either of the two logos.
I ranked one of your logos in first place. I would really like to see it with a 3D look or a glossy reflection to it if possible. Also, I'm not sure if you can put a reflection or shadow below it to make it look even more 3D than it does now.
Anything is possible.. :) I'm going to start a series based on the coloring of the logo you selected, with different types of glossiness and reflections.
please tell me if there is anything I can help you with. The 7 days Judging period has started, do you want to see more versions of your logo? Black on white, white on black or other variations?
