Hi Lindsey, We like your design. Could we see a couple of different options: maybe a couple of colors, some various font treatments with more of a clean, modern sanserif font, and then one with the fish head and marks going clockwise instead of counter-clockwise.
Just wondered if you got my message above? We really do like your logo here that you did, but would like to see it with the changes listed above... fonts, the direction of the shutter and fish, etc. And perhaps one with the tagline included as well.
Sorry for the delay - between the holiday yesterday and work today, I haven't had much time for logos! I've uploaded a few new choices. If you like any one thing out of any of these entries, I can mix and match. I wanted to give you a sample of colors, fonts, logo orientation (vertical versus horizontal), etc. I'm happy to continue tweaking if you'd like to see any changes.
I think the fish in one color and the lens in a shade of blue looks great for a color version of the logo -- it makes the lenses appear to be waves in my mind. I know that fisheye lenses have nothing to do with fish, but intermingling the two makes the logo pretty memorable. I have a fisheye lens at work for some virtual tours we've done -- those things are monsters!
This logo would also work in black and white (or simply one color), which is an important characteristic of any good logo. Thanks for your feedback!
