First Step IncLogo Design Contest

This design is growing on me - what would it look like in one solid color? Entry #10 is my favorite of the group - just afraid the "steps" that form the "s" might get missed - any way to highlight them more?

Thanks - really liking #35 and #36 a lot now. Is there any way to make the "changing peoples lives" font a little bigger without it overpowering the rest of the logo?
