Hello -
1st let me say that these are always my favorite contests. As a fellow believer, I am always drawn to them.
...and of course as a fellow believer, I know that the logo is more important for your ministry than just the average business out there. My dad is in his 3rd decade of full time ministry and has pastored our church for 18 years. I will try to bring some of my insite into the inner workings of ministry to try and give you a fresh viewpoint. Regardless of what logo you get, I pray the Lord will use it as a tool to further His kingdom. There are some wonderful designers here. You will have no trouble finding the perfect mark.
As for my entries, I am leaning towards church marks that represent hope. I like the ideas of horizons, and paths leading to a point to represent the idea that we are only one decision away from finding that future that He has planned for us. The idea of the Lord being our hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) These logos will reflect that.
As a side note I am a Florida native and grew up in southern Florida, so I have a feel for the demographic as well.
So feel free to offer comments and feedback. (Suggestions etc.)
Here are some other churches that have recently chosen my work:

The 3 plates that make up the logo are an abstract reference to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God Bless,
Paul
