I like the use of geometric shapes. Simple but unique. Think about the Mercedes "gun sight" or Target "bulls-eye" or London Underground "circle/bar" design. These are all circular which isn't necessarily the shape I'll want but they're simple, recognizable and easy to use in all forms of media.

The one design of yours I've seen is cool, using the different size squares. Has a hip, retro look which I like. Keep the abstract logo in mind, I've seen plenty of initials!
