The first two are abstract marks - promotes the feeling of management / organization in that all of the different pieces come together to an organized mosaic. The third is an abstract F - also a mountain scene with blue sky. The mountain reflects focus, strength and longevity in brand - qualities that I think fall in line with your objectives.

Thanks. Very creative. I like some elements of each. The Mountain idea in #5 is cool, but doesn't actually look that great. The chessboard pattern in #3 & #4 looks nice and does suggest the strategy and organization that our app will bring to our customers. In this context, I much prefer the name in all caps, but have a small preference for the linear arrangement in #4 v. #3. Also wondering whether we can make the chessboard either a bit brighter and/or say more. One thought might be to weave the F and/or mountain idea into the chessboard if that is possible.

Here are a couple revised entries based on feedback - thanks!

Thanks. The colors are better. The chessboard is a step back though. Not sure if the problem is my two suggestions or the fact that there are now a lot more boxes. Your original 5x5 grid is more visually appealing. I also liked the greater contrast between the darkest and lightest boxes in the original chessboard. Also not sure about the line separating the chessboard from the name. Hope that helps. I'd encourage you to play with, you are on a promising track.

still not there on the chessboard. not sure what it needs. please feel free to experiment with other ideas, i do like your design sense. also, can you please drop the subtle framing. we are never going to use the logo like that. a plain white background is best.

Nope - just giving it the weekend to think about it. :)

Hi! Here are a few new entries. A couple abstract marks relating to organization/management, an icon featuring a king chess piece (sort of a "strategy/moving pieces/top of your game" reference" and a few simplified wordmarks focusing on the A, rather than the F. I like that the A is right in the middle, so it makes for a nice balancing point visually.

nice to see you back. all of your work is visually appealing. i have usability concerns, however, with designs like #99 (icon), and #94 & 96 (shading in icon may get lost or conflict with certain backgrounds). as much as i like chess, it's a bit overused as a motif and a bit far off point for us.

i like the idea of trying the A instead of the f or i's as most have. in both cases though the graphic though is too small and doesn't really say much. maybe if you link it to something larger (a balance perhaps?) outside the name.

#95 is my favorite. little dots are cool! suggests a fractal pattern to me. also a christmas wreath (which is pretty off point) if you could find a way to have the dots say or suggest something connected to our business, not just look cool, it could be a winner.

I tried to make the dots loosely resemble a scenario graph
