Hi, here is my initial entry for your consideration. Though you didn't want a house depicted, the image that your company name brought to mind is that of ancient ruins, like those found in Rome or Greece. I also imagined the letter M as having (or being) great pillars standing atop rising stairs. I think this makes for a solid logo that elicits thoughts of a solid company.
