Please make the eyes larger and with more punch -- more personality. The black one feels like a special forces logo (I like it, just not right for a primary school). And I prefer the logo without a circle.

Also, I think the white head looks more like a bald eagle than a falcon. Falcon heads are a bit stubbier, and the eyes are very prominent:

In the meantime, I'd like you to take another look at the talon design. That's the one part of your logo that could use some work. It just feels awkward.

Hmmmm... I don't want the talons to be so complex with claws and gradients. Keep it like your original design, but adjust the shape to be less curvy and hefty and more sleek and powerful. Does that make sense?
