FCS - Falcon Mascot and School LogoLogo Design Contest

Thanks, piraka! Keep pushing this design a bit. It's right along the lines of what I asked for, but I'd love to see your unique take on the idea. What else could we do?

Also, I would like a little more personality in the eyes. It's a bit too impersonal right now. And feel free to throw in some additional colors if you'd like. Some grays, perhaps?

Hmmm. I like the stroke, but pull it back a little. And the white head is now looking more like a bald eagle rather than a falcon. Let's not make it have so much contrast. Falcon heads are a bit stubbier, and the eyes are very prominent:

You're doing a great job. For the font, I much prefer clean, sans-serif fonts. Like Gotham Black, Proxima Nova, Brandon Grotesque, Etc. Keep the typeface bold, but simple. And can you do a sample with a black falcon with the FCS in red (have a feeling the client will want more red eventually)?

Piraka, thanks for your patience. The new falcon head is great!

My client is leaning heavily toward your design, but wants one more round of minor changes:

1. Make the black lines continue through the "F" and "C" (like in the #2 ranked design). You might need to widen the lettering a bit, and that's okay.

2. We need to make the "S" a bit more more distinct, better showing the shape of the letter.

3. Can I get one design that shades the red with a slight gradient (again, like the #2 ranked design).

Can you also contour the "C" to have a similar shape to the neck feathers? The white space there is a bit distracting to me.

Would like to see the logo on white so that the outlines appear.

Also, these two edits mentioned above are still not completed. Please update:

2. Can you also contour the curve of "C" to have a similar shape to the neck feathers? The white space there is a bit distracting to me.

Have the black lines come into the "F" and the "C". You do not need to spread the letters out so much, between the letters, just within each letter.

Can we also make sure the black outlines are the same with throughout? The new lines inside the "F" and "C" look a bit thicker.

So close. Take a look at the back talon. The outline was not adjusted and comes too close to the claw. After that, we're done.
