Thank you for your submission!

With regard to Entry #2, very whimsical and funny! We love the interaction between the Doxie and the Typeface but are concerned that the crushing of the letters makes the name difficult to read. Also the "D" in Doxie should be in Cap. The bone is a great idea, perhaps it could be utilized somewhere else (perhaps Doxie is hiding it somewhere? chewing?) The colors for the lettering and shirt should pop some more. They are a bit muted. The Doxie itself is playful and has a great personality! We love the short shirt highlighting his belly!

Thank you for the edits!

Like the use of the tongue in #7, although the way it is sitting it looks a bit like it is pasted on his neck. Needs a bit of dimension. Hiding the bone in the "i" was inspired! But, we feel it may interfere with future uses of the Typeface. Still looking for a place for the bone. :) Bone in mouth is cliché.

T shirt use in #2 and #5 is good. T shirt use in #6 and #7 is a bit too 1980s (think Flashdance). The off the shoulder motif is gone, and the doxie has to be stylish! :) It must be hard to get the dog dressed right! Perhaps if the neck was longer the shirt would fit him better? Like the use of the red shirt in #5, although in Star Trek the red shirt always dies first! Can we see a purple shirt? ;)

Color choice in #5 for lettering is not our style. Better in #6 and #7. Something more exotic less earthy? (Don't go too crazy).

A word about the snout, we think the Doxie is very playful and fun loving, but, he looks a bit like a bassett. Please review the general comments and pictures posted a few minutes ago.

Last, we note that Fat in #7 and #6 is angled down. If this is part of the design, please augment design so that it looks balanced with Doxie. Maybe something wih the "x"?

Thank you again!

Some quick comments on #8. We like the other font! :) Please don't let the original dog's personality get lost in the revision. The original was charming - casual and elegant. The eye on the new one just isn't there yet.

Thanks again!

One more thought, could we give the dog a bit of a butt?

Thanks for this awesome feedback.
The more specific, the better.
I played around with snout , so doggy looks more dachshundisch now.
Regarding the T shirt-no problem I 'll adjust it ad try out some other clothing items as well.
Let me know if you prefer font in #8 or the one in older entries, so I could adjust it further more.
Tanks.

Bob.

Bob,

We definetly like the font better in the older entries. The bubbly stuff competes with the doxie shape, better contrast with the squarer fonts. We enjoy collaboration. All part of the artistic process. :)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Alex,
I introduced some purple in the design, so you can check if it fits for you.
Also, doggy is a bit more adjusted and I wold love to heat your thoughts about him now.
I'm working on other options and will upload as soon as I finish them.

Bob,

We like the purple but we are not crazy about the turtle neck. Doxies have long necks, it's part of their "thing." I'm not sure we should hide it. As for the additional spray painting, I think it may be a little much, we liked the amount in the blue in #6. Color for Doxie is much better in #11, I see you've restored to original. The eye is also much better in #11, but I'm not sure it's quite there. Perhaps if the face is tilted down smirking at the word Fat? As in "who are you calling fat?"

Also, there is nothing wrong with skewing the words "Fat Doxie" -- it may add more fun to the design.

Would also be interested in something elegant if you got it - don't want to skew too urban.

Thanks again!

Oh, one more thing, we may need to find yet another place for the bone or scrap it all together. Although I like the placement in the "I," this can't look like it's a logo for pet supplies.

How about bone-umbrella in elegant design?
This shouldn't give association on food supply.
Skewing font will be next option.

Thanks.

You made a lot of people squee! No promises, of course, we have a focus group to get through, but you do excellent work! Oh, no need for pants! And, don't forget the butt! ;)

Elegant in tux.
Butt a bit bigger-can't make it more big as it will look disproportional (even now is at the edge).
Let me know which tux option do you prefer.

Thanks for all the feedback so far :)

Bob, these are terrific. You are right. Let's tighten up the butt a little bit and we're using #20 going forward. It is wonderful! All the comments below are with regard to #20 -- we're moving the rest into inactive.

Can we get a "hair" more separation on the split in the tuxedo? Just enough to show slightly more skin?
The "paw" that is "underneath" in the umbrella needs to be cleaned up. Right now, just placed there.
Overall, shadows need to be adjusted/trimmed. Very good definition, but they are a bit thick in places. :) You have a great style - and I have a horridly eagle eye for detail!
Let's take his stomach slightly off of the "e" in doxie. It will make the lines cleaner.
Let's adjust head tilt down looking at Fat - admiring Logo -- just enough - not too much.
Let your imagination go with the color spread on the Type - we'd like to see a few choices. We love the grading on the gray.

This is really outstanding work. Who knows, if we make it big we may need to contact you about licensing some work from you!

Focus panel is starting to weigh in. They have the following comments:

#20. The umbrella/bone is an excellent touch, but there is a concern that it will not read as an "i" to those that don't know the word is "Doxie." Maybe using it as an exclamation point?

There is also some concern the tail wagging movement might mean the dog is "humping" the logo. I don't see that, but you know how people are.

here are some options, regarding doggy and colors.
Hope these changes are what you had in mind.
I'm waiting for your further feedback.
Thanks.
